Map view of affiliations

This is a map view of the affiliations of authors who have reported the ROR ID of their affiliations. There are 103 locations listed in 27 countries, but the total number of affiliations is 238 for 307 authors in 102 articles so far. The reason why this is incomplete is because we only show the affiliations where an author has provided a ROR ID. We hope that eventually all authors will report the ROR of their affiliation. The quality of the geocoding can be pretty far off due to an unfortunate decision by the ROR organization to geocode only by city name. For example, UCSD is off by about 12 miles. Clusters are shown as yellow and organge dots, but will expand if you zoom in or click on them.
